Welcome to Puppy Yoga Lounge (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing a ticket, registering for a class, entering our premises, or using our website (puppy-yogalounge.com), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before booking a session.

1. Description of Services

Puppy Yoga Lounge provides structured yoga and wellness classes combined with a social, interactive experience featuring live puppies (“Puppy Yoga”). The puppies present during sessions are sourced from ethical, trusted Canadian partners, local shelters, or licensed breeders, and are present strictly for socialization, mental stimulation, and human interaction.

2. Age Restrictions & Prerequisites

• Minimum Age: Participants must be at least 12 years old to attend a standard session. Any participant under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence (18 or 19) must have these Terms reviewed and accepted by a parent or legal guardian.
• Child Supervision: For designated family or youth sessions, children under 12 must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult at a 1:1 ratio at all times.
• Health Readiness: You warrant that you are physically fit to participate in a light-to-moderate yoga class and have no medical conditions or physical ailments that would make the activity unsafe.

3. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

By attending a Puppy Yoga Lounge session, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following inherent risks:

• Animal Behavior: Puppies are inherently unpredictable. They may jump, scratch, nibble, bite, bark, or cause minor scratches or injuries. They are not fully house-trained and may have accidents (urination/defecation) on or near your person, yoga mat, or clothing.
• Zoonotic Risks & Allergies: While we ensure all participating puppies are vet-checked and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, interacting with animals carries an inherent risk of minor infections, parasites, or allergic reactions.
• Physical Activity: Yoga involves physical movement, stretching, and physical exertion which carries a minor risk of personal injury.
• Waiver of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian provincial laws, you hereby release, waive, and forever discharge Puppy Yoga Lounge, its owners, instructors, staff, and puppy partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or injuries arising from your participation in the class.

4. Class Rules & Code of Conduct

To ensure the safety and welfare of both human participants and the puppies, you agree to strictly adhere to the following rules:

• Handling the Puppies: You must handle all puppies gently. Dropping, pulling tails/ears, squeezing, or forced restraint of any puppy is strictly prohibited. If an instructor or puppy handler asks you to put a puppy down, you must comply immediately.
• No Outside Animals: To protect the health and safety of our young pups, under no circumstances are participants permitted to bring their own pets into the studio space.
• Hygiene: You agree to sanitize your hands prior to entering the puppy enclosure area and immediately upon leaving.
• Staff Instructions: The decisions of our yoga instructors and puppy handlers are final. Failure to comply with safety guidelines will result in immediate removal from the class without a refund.

5. Booking, Cancellation, & Refund Policy

• All Sales Final: Due to high demand, limited capacity, and scheduling complexities involving the puppies, all ticket sales for Puppy Yoga Lounge sessions are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling: If you need to change your date, you must notify us via email at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled class time. Requests made after this window will forfeit the ticket value.
• Class Cancellations by Us: In the rare event that we must cancel a class due to puppy health, extreme weather, or staff emergency, you will be issued a full refund or a priority credit to rebook.

6. Media Release & Photography Permissions

• Photography by Staff: We frequently take photos and videos during our sessions for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes. By attending, you grant Puppy Yoga Lounge a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your likeness in these materials.
• Opting Out: If you do not wish to be photographed, you must explicitly notify the front desk staff and the instructor before the class begins.
• Personal Photography: You are welcome to take photos/videos during designated times, provided it does not disrupt the class structure or compromise the safety and comfort of the puppies.

7. Personal Property

We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Be advised that puppies love chewing on shoelaces, zippers, bags, phone cords, and loose clothing. Please leave valuable items outside the immediate puppy zone or in designated cubbies/lockers.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of [Insert Province, e.g., Ontario / British Columbia / Alberta] and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within that province.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting to our website (puppy-yogalounge.com). Your continued booking of classes or use of our website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
