Welcome to Puppy Yoga Lounge (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (“Terms” or “Policy”) govern your use of the Puppy Yoga Lounge website, booking application, and services available through puppy-yogalounge.com (collectively, the “Services”).
By purchasing a ticket, registering for a class, entering our premises, using our website, or submitting information through our booking application, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.
Puppy Yoga Lounge provides structured yoga and wellness classes combined with a social, interactive experience featuring live puppies (“Puppy Yoga”).
The puppies present during sessions are sourced from ethical, trusted Canadian partners, local shelters, or licensed breeders and are present primarily for socialization, mental stimulation, and human interaction.
Puppy Yoga Lounge reserves the right to modify class formats, puppy participation, schedules, locations, instructors, or other aspects of the Services when reasonably necessary for the safety and welfare of participants, puppies, staff, or partners.
Participants must be at least 12 years old to attend a standard Puppy Yoga Lounge session unless otherwise stated for a specific event.
Participants who are under the age of majority in their applicable province or territory must have these Terms reviewed and accepted by a parent or legal guardian.
For designated family or youth sessions, children under 12 must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult at a 1:1 ratio at all times unless otherwise specified by Puppy Yoga Lounge.
You acknowledge that yoga involves physical movement, stretching, balance, and light-to-moderate physical exertion.
You are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for you. If you have any medical condition, injury, physical limitation, allergy, or other concern that could make participation unsafe, you should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.
Puppy Yoga Lounge does not provide medical advice or medical treatment.
By participating in a Puppy Yoga Lounge session, you acknowledge and accept that participation involves inherent risks.
Puppies are animals and their behaviour can be unpredictable. Puppies may jump, scratch, nibble, bite, bark, run, or otherwise behave unexpectedly.
Puppies may also have accidents, including urination or defecation, on or near participants, yoga mats, clothing, or personal belongings.
Interaction with animals may result in allergic reactions or exposure to naturally occurring bacteria, parasites, or other microorganisms.
While Puppy Yoga Lounge takes reasonable measures to ensure participating puppies receive appropriate veterinary care and age-appropriate vaccinations, no environment involving animals can be guaranteed to be completely free from allergens, microorganisms, or other risks.
Yoga and physical activity involve inherent risks, including strains, sprains, falls, muscle soreness, or other injuries.
You voluntarily assume these risks by participating.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you release and discharge Puppy Yoga Lounge, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, representatives, volunteers, and participating puppy partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or injuries arising from or relating to your participation in the Services, except where such limitation or release is prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
For the safety and welfare of both participants and puppies, you agree to follow all instructions provided by Puppy Yoga Lounge staff.
Puppies must be handled gently and appropriately.
Dropping, pulling tails or ears, squeezing, striking, chasing, or forcibly restraining a puppy is prohibited.
If an instructor or puppy handler asks you to put down, release, or stop interacting with a puppy, you must comply immediately.
Participants may not bring their own pets or other animals into the studio or puppy interaction area.
Participants must sanitize or wash their hands as directed by staff, including before and after interacting with puppies.
The instructions and safety decisions of Puppy Yoga Lounge instructors, puppy handlers, and staff are intended to protect both participants and animals.
Failure to follow safety instructions may result in immediate removal from the class without a refund.
Due to limited capacity, high demand, puppy scheduling, and the logistics involved in organizing sessions, ticket purchases are generally non-refundable.
If you need to change your booking date, you must contact Puppy Yoga Lounge by email at least 48 hours before your scheduled class time.
Rescheduling requests received after this period may be denied and may result in forfeiture of the ticket value.
Puppy Yoga Lounge may cancel or modify a class due to circumstances including puppy health or welfare, extreme weather, facility issues, staff emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If Puppy Yoga Lounge cancels a class, affected customers may be offered a full refund or priority credit to rebook, at the Company’s discretion and subject to the circumstances of the cancellation.
Puppy Yoga Lounge may take photographs or videos during sessions for marketing, promotional, website, social media, advertising, and other business purposes.
By participating, you grant Puppy Yoga Lounge a worldwide, royalty-free license to use your likeness in such materials, subject to applicable law.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos taken by Puppy Yoga Lounge, you should notify the front desk or instructor before the class begins.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate valid opt-out requests.
Participants may take photographs or videos during designated times, provided doing so does not interfere with the class, staff instructions, other participants, or the safety and comfort of the puppies.
Puppy Yoga Lounge is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Puppies may chew or interact with shoelaces, zippers, bags, phone cords, clothing, and other personal items.
Participants should keep valuable or fragile belongings outside the immediate puppy interaction area or in designated storage areas.
Puppy Yoga Lounge uses third-party payment services, including Stripe, to process payments.
When you make a payment through Stripe, payment information may be transmitted directly to Stripe or processed by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy practices.
Puppy Yoga Lounge does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers, CVV/security codes, or other full payment-card credentials on our own servers or private storage systems.
Our booking application may transmit information necessary to associate a payment with a booking, such as your name, email address, booking information, transaction identifiers, or other information required for payment processing and booking confirmation.
Puppy Yoga Lounge does not sell your personal information to Stripe or other third parties.
Stripe operates independently from Puppy Yoga Lounge. Your use of Stripe’s payment services may also be subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Vancouver, together with applicable federal laws of Canada.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located within that province.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive consumers of rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the website or Services after an updated version is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
